    Born in 1985 and raised in Suzuka City.

    At 6 years of age, with influence from his father, he started motocross and also raced in the local races from his elementary school years.
    In junior high school he decided to be a professional rider and received understanding from his school, Kaisei Junior High School.

    In age 17, he debuted in the All Japan Motocross Championship. In his debut year he becomes the All Japan Motocross Championship International B Class 125cc series champion.
    In 2006 he became the All Japan Motocross Championship International A Class 250cc champion and finally in 2015 he becomes the International A Class 450cc champion, the pinnacle of Japanese motocross racing.

    Utilizing the experience of motocross racing out side Japan to raise the overall level of motocross racing in Japan, he had become the president of the motocross player in Japan from 2012. He is striving to expand the base of the motocross world and improve its position.
    His activities are acknowledged for winning the Motor Sports Suzuka Mayor Prize in 2013, and in 2015 he became the “Suzuka To-Ki-Me-Ki Motorsports Ambassador”.
    “Suzuka City” declared as the Motorsports City is appealing to the world.

    In 2017, he was ready to recapture the champion however, he was forced to miss some races due to rupture of Achilles tendon and there were dramatic changes such as brake up of his team department. From 2018 he started “Bells Racing” to start again to recapture the glory and fight for the world.

  • For 2019 Season

    I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart for all of the support I have had from many of my supporters and being able to race with “Bells Racing” again for 2019.

    We will definitely aim for a better result from last year and concentrate on winning with the whole team being as one.

     

    From this year we have welcomed a young talent “Kainosuke Oshiro” in the team. The young rider has the talent and we would like to support him for the talent to bloom by training with the team. Please look forward for Bells Racing / SoCal MXTF, Yohei Kojima, and Kainosuke Oshiro in the 2019 season!
