Yohei Kojima Comments

“All Japan Motocross Championship Round 6 “Kinki Tournament” at Meihan Sports Land had begun and today was the qualifying race day. Being our home race, many fans and supporters visited the circuit already from Saturday and I am very pleased for this weekend.

On today’s 10-minute qualifying race, I had a good start and made my way through up to 2nd by turn 2. I tried my best to keep the position however, I had ended the race in 4th position. We are in a very good condition however, the factory riders in front of me had even a better condition. Therefore, us privateers are in a difficult position however, even in this type of situation I will do my best and try to get a good result back to the team and the fans for this home event.

Obviously, our main goal for tomorrow will be finishing in the podium spot however, at the same time I would like to concentrate on my riding and be consistent in both heats and hope to have a good result back to the team.

Thank you to all of the fans and supporters. Please visit the circuit and look forward for my race tomorrow. Thank you.”
